I can understand your hestiancy about venturing out into the infectious real world. Here the numbers of cases are very low, but last week a child in a nearby school tested positive which reminded me that I could have easily contacted him/her at the local shops. Now that I'm actively suppressing my immune system, in addition to my advancing age, I am definitely in a vulnerable group.

That's great to hear how your walking is going! Seeing some clear evidence of improvement is so encouraging. I am walking a similar distance to you and am now able to set a target pace. It feels good when I reach that goal. My daughter is a great advocate for formal goal-setting and I am becoming a believer myself.
