Plague 2021 #9 Lull

Well we are definitely in a plague summer lull, and I'm cautiously hopeful that it's less of a lull and more of a beginning of the end.  Here in OK, people are definitely treating it as if it's over.  Everything is back open, there are no mask or social distance requirements and very few people are masked.

Work is kicking my butt and I had a stressful week.  Next week I need to do better at managing myself because my workload is going to remain heavy for several months.  At least I got out of going on a week long photo shoot, telling my boss that I just couldn't afford the time.

Nothing much to say, just popping in to say I'm fine.  I'm managing my BP pretty well, my vision is almost back to normal, and I'm trying very heard to improve my eating habits.  Life goes on.

A week long photo shoot! WTF?! That sounds like torture!

I'm glad to hear about your plague lull. I'm writing this on the first day of a two week Sydney lock down! We were so smug, thinking there was no COVID-19 on the loose in our community, and then a limo-driver who had been transporting airport and flight workers picked up COVID and passed it on . . . and on and on.

Great to hear that your health is on the level too! You're a winner all round, except for the workload. Maybe it will surprise you and not be as high as you envisage. (I sound like an optimist, but in reality I'd be expecting the worst.)

Good to see a post from you. :)

All the mask requirements have dropped here except for a few local businesses -- mostly specialized ones -- who are keeping their signs up. I feel super weird when I go to the grocery store with my mask on because I'm only one of a handful doing it. And I STILL managed to catch a super awful cold. Sigh.
