Wow, what a start to the year. You're certainly lucky the SUV-guy didn't just drive off. And that your car wasn't written off. Our 2001 car was written off a couple of years ago in the last week of December when my son ran into a motorcyclist while staying in Melbourne (1000 km from home). What a nightmare that was - from many perspectives (the motorcyclist was 'ok').
